Biography

    Stephanie is a special counsel in Gilbert + Tobin’s Tech + IP group specialising in Technology + Digital.

    Her practice focuses on complex commercial transactions and regulatory advice. She has specific expertise in technology transformations, outsourcings and other long-term, high-value services agreements, acting most frequently for clients in the financial services, agribusiness, technology, government and healthcare sectors.

    Stephanie provides clear and strategic advice on data and privacy, navigating issues like biometrics, data sharing and data commercialisation. She advises clients on artificial intelligence matters, particularly in the healthcare AI space. Stephanie also has significant experience in software transactions and licensing, including mission-critical software contracts, cloud services and software disputes.

    Prior to joining Gilbert + Tobin in 2017, Stephanie worked at Linklaters in London, during which time she completed a secondment to the Group Operations and Commercial Legal team at Lloyds Banking Group. Stephanie also previously worked at another leading Australian law firm for several years.

    Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons Class I) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons Class I) from the University of Sydney.
