Luke Standen

Luke is a special counsel in Gilbert + Tobin’s Tech + IP group and specialises in Technology + Digital.

Luke specialises in complex digital transformation, technology, telecommunications and outsourcing projects, including the implementation of emerging technologies.  Luke has significant international experience advising on the full life-cycle of major projects from procurement strategy through to contract finalisation and implementation, to contract change, renegotiation and exit. Luke also advises on telecommunications regulation, privacy and data protection regulation, data commercialisation and software, content and technology licensing.

Luke has a Bachelor of Science (Forensic), Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Newcastle.
