Biography

Xavier is the head of G+T Ventures, a specialist practice group within G+T that works with many of Australia’s most exciting early-stage and emerging growth companies.

He has developed a reputation as a go-to advisor for Australian start-ups and scale-ups, guiding founders and companies through crucial stages of growth, including advising on their equity and debt financings, commercialisation strategies, employee incentive plans, bolt-on acquisitions and exit strategies.

Xavier works with companies across all major industries, including AI, climate tech, cyber security, deep tech, fintech, food tech, health tech/biotech, IoT/advanced manufacturing and consumer and B2B SaaS.

He also regularly acts for a range of investors, including local and foreign venture capital funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and strategic investors.

5B on its $55 million Series B financing, led by BP Ventures and AES.
A large European VC fund on various investments, including in mx51.
Cauldron Ferm on its Series Seed and Series A financing, led by Main Sequence and Horizons Ventures.
Data Mesh Group on multiple financings, including its $30 million Series A financing, supported by NAB Ventures, Deutsche Bank and 1835i.
JDoodle on its Series Seed financing, led by Main Sequence.
Loam Bio on its US$73 million Series B financing, led by Lowercarbon Capital and Wollemi Capital.
Main Sequence Ventures on various investments, including into Sundrive Solar and Swoop Aero.
