Keara Stretton

Biography

Keara is a Special Counsel in our Corporate Advisory team.

Keara specialises in private M&A, commercial contracts, and general corporate advisory.

Keara holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours – H1) and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University.

Prior to joining G+T, Keara worked at global law firms in Melbourne and Sydney and completed a secondment at Telstra.

Experience

Keara’s experience includes advising:

  • IFM and Tally Group on the acquisition of Alinta Energy’s retail energy billing platform.

  • Livingbridge on its acquisition of Dimeo Cleaning Services.

  • PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur on the potential acquisition of Incitec Pivot Limited’s fertilisers business.

  • KKR in relation to OTPP's increased equity investment in GreenCollar.

  • TPG Growth and Morrow Sodali on the acquisition of Domestique Consulting.

  • Nutrien Ag Solutions on a number of acquisitions and divestments.

  • Programmed on the acquisition of Urban Maintenance Systems.

  • Orica on the sale of its Minova business to Aurelius Group as well as in relation to a number of acquisitions of Australian and global businesses.

  • Tilt Renewables in relation to the $1.1 billion sale of its Snowtown 2 wind farm.

  • BGH in relation to its $2.3 billion acquisition of Navitas and subsequent acquisition by Navitas of an Australian and New Zealand based education business.

  • KKR in relation to its $2 billion acquisition of MYOB and subsequent acquisitions by MYOB of various Australian software businesses.

  • Cleanaway in relation to its joint venture with Pact Group, Asahi Beverages, and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners to develop plastics recycling facilities.
