She advises on conducting trade mark clearance searches and the preparation and prosecution of trade mark applications in all jurisdictions. Fiona has considerable expertise in the management of global trade mark portfolios, including advising with regard to branding disputes, licences and settlement and co-existence agreements and representing clients in connection with numerous contentious trade mark proceedings in the Australian Trade Marks Office.

Advising on IP aspects of large M&A due diligence transactions (including drafting and review of transaction documents) also forms a large part of Fiona’s practice.

She has represented large Australian and global companies operating in a wide range of industries, including automotive, petroleum, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, cosmetics, computer software, fashion, building products, food and beverage, travel and entertainment.
