He advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and foreign investment matters. He regularly advises on the 2023 regulatory reforms relating to the ATO Register of Foreign Ownership of Australian Assets.
Eugene advises clients across all sectors, including agribusinesses, energy, infrastructure, mining and metals, government and technology. He has significant experience advising on and coordinating transactions involving multiple jurisdictions, with many of his key transactions involving cooperation with law firms in Canada, USA and Chile.
He is a member of the Treasury’s Investor Reference Group in relation to FIRB.
