Ethan Huang

Biography

Ethan is a lawyer in our Technology and Intellectual Property group.

He advises on a wide range of commercial and technology matters, including large-scale technology projects, as-a-service agreements, private and public sector procurement projects and new technology developments. His work also includes advising on technology, data, and privacy issues on strategic M&A transactions.

Ethan has extensive regulatory experience and advises clients across all sectors, including in artificial intelligence, space law, gaming, online safety, telecommunications and data protection and privacy. He is also a point of contact for cyber security and critical infrastructure related matters.

Ethan has also developed a deep understanding of the region as a returning New Colombo Plan Scholar based in Singapore and former APAC law and policy analyst for Microsoft. He is also passionate about bettering the practice of law and is well-versed in legal technologies and innovation, having previously worked as a legal technology consultant at TransGrid, business strategy manager for the Asia Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association and in our G+T Innovate team. Ethan is also a guest lecturer for the UTS Legal Futures and Technology Major.
