He has a broad practice with a focus on IP and commercial contract disputes. Gus has advised clients across the full range of IP and associated rights, including multi-jurisdictional patent litigation, trademark litigation and enforcement action, copyright, consumer law and passing off, licensing disputes and trademark prosecution.

He has a particular interest and experience in the life sciences, sport and entertainment sectors, as well as Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property.

Between 2022 and 2024, Gus practised overseas in Spain and the UK, where he acted for clients in international commercial arbitrations and complex biopharmaceutical patent litigation.
