Gilbert + Tobin continues to strengthen its Perth practice with the appointment of former investment banker, Justin Mannolini, effective 3 October.

Justin comes to the firm with nearly two decades of experience in legal and investment banking roles focussing on mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions, with his most recent role at Macquarie Capital as Executive Director.

Justin was previously Managing Director of Gresham Advisory Partners in Perth and a partner in the mergers and acquisitions group of Freehills, practicing in both Sydney and Perth.
In addition to his legal and banking experience, Justin is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the WA Museum Foundation, ASX-listed Jindalee Resources Limited and WA FinTech pioneer Kikka Capital. He was recently appointed as a Director of the Commonwealth Government’s $5bn Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility.

Gilbert + Tobin Managing Partner Danny Gilbert is thrilled to welcome someone of Justin’s calibre to the Perth practice and says his appointment reflects the ongoing development of the firm’s Western Australian practice.

“Justin has an exceptional reputation and brings a wealth of experience in corporate, private and Government sector. Justin will strengthen our presence in Perth and make an important contribution to our firm.”

Justin said he was delighted to be given the opportunity to return to legal practice with Gilbert + Tobin, a firm which he considered to be at the vanguard of innovation in law. “The firm already has a well-deserved reputation for leadership in the energy and resources sector in Western Australia, and I look forward to working with the Perth partnership to further broaden its service offering.”
