Gilbert + Tobin is thrilled to announce that it is advising longstanding client Orica (ASX:ORI) on its fully underwritten AU$400 million placement and share purchase plan. The proceeds of the equity raising will be used to partially fund the US$640 million acquisition of Cyanco. Cyanco is a US-based leader in the manufacture and distribution of sodium cyanide primarily serving the gold mining industries in the US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Africa.
