Gilbert + Tobin is pleased to announce it advised Morgan Stanley Australia Securities Limited and Barrenjoey Markets Pty Limited as joint lead managers, bookrunners and underwriters to APA Group’s (ASX: APA) recently announced $675 million ’pro rata’ institutional placement to partly fund its acquisition of Alinta Energy’s Pilbara assets. The acquisition followed a competitive bid process.
This transaction, valued at $1.7 billion, will enhance APA's energy portfolio and bolster its position as a leader in the energy infrastructure sector. The acquisition is expected to bring new capabilities to APA’s diverse portfolio of existing assets and decarbonisation developments and to provide a significant platform for future growth.
