Gilbert + Tobin has advised Australian private equity firm Five V Capital on the first and final closing of its fifth core fund, “Five V Fund V”, comprising of $770m in capital commitments. Supported by Five V Capital's loyal existing investors and new global institutional investors, the fund aims to serve as a stable source of long-term capital for top-tier businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
The G+T team was led by partner Judy Hsu , with support from senior lawyer Rob Newham, and lawyers Jeremy Tjeuw, Nina Mao, Jessica Zhang and Kelly Cai.
