We are pleased to have advised DT Infrastructure on the landmark $740 million Boulder Creek Wind Farm project.

Due for completion in 2027, the wind farm will consist of 38 wind turbines, which will power approximately 85,000 homes. The Boulder Creek Wind Farm project marks a significant milestone in Queensland's renewable energy journey, aligning with the state's ambitious goal to generate 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2032.

The Boulder Creek Wind Farm, co-owned by Aula Energy and CS Energy, is set to become a cornerstone in Queensland's green energy infrastructure. With 38 cutting-edge GE Vernova wind turbines, the project will bolster the region's power supply generating 228 MW, enough to sustain over 85,000 homes. This project not only reflects our client's vision to lead in delivering complex, sustainable infrastructure but also resonates with our commitment to fostering innovative and environmentally conscious solutions.

The project's commencement in November 2024 is a leap towards sustainable development, with the Queensland Government's investment of $399.7 million underscoring its significance.

Construction Partner George Varma led the matter, supported by lawyer Angus Stewart. Banking and Finance Partners, Trish Chapman and Robert Trowbridge also provided advice.
