G+T has been named National Law Firm of the Year (Australia) at the 2018 Asialaw Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution Awards.

Danny Gilbert has been named Managing Partner of the Year  Rebecca Dunn won Special Counsel of the Year   

G+T was named the leading firm in Asia Pacific in the 2018 edition of the Global Competition Review and Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders - Competition.  G+T's Competition + Regulation partners Luke Woodward and Elizabeth Avery were named the top two Asia-Pacific thought leaders in their field.  Partners Gina Cass-Gottlieb and Paula Gilardoni were also recognised for their excellence and expertise in competition practice.  

G+T's Legal Project Management team won the NSW Change Management award at the AIPM 2018 Project Management Achievement Awards.  These awards recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievements in project management. 

Gilbert + Tobin was recognised in the AFR Top 100 Most Innovative Companies, and was the only law firm in the top 50. 

G+T was chosen for its culture of innovation and work in transforming and embedding best-practice legal project management.

Gilbert + Tobin was recognised in the Janders Dean Legal Innovation Index 2018.  G+T was named organisational winner for their development of Verification tool, which automates the initial public offering (IPO) verification process.

Gina Cass-Gottlieb was named Competition, Trade and Regulation Partner of the Year.

Tim Gordon took out the Mergers and Acquisitions Partner of the Year award.

Gilbert + Tobin won the Innovation in Rule of Law and Access to Justice Award for their automation project with Australia’s leading refugee NGO, Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS).   The award recognizes initiatives that seek to uphold the rule of law and improve avenues of access to justice.
